Don’t blame us for your hardship, FG tells Nigerians

The Federal Government on Thursday absolved
itself of any wrongdoings in the present
economic woes ravaging the country, which has
brought so much hardship in the land.
The Minister of Budget and National Planning,
Senator Udo Udoma, made the claim on
Thursday while answering questions from
reporter s after the last meeting of the National
Economic Council (NEC) for the year 2016 at
the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to Udoma, President Muhammadu
Buhari-led government was never responsible
for the country’s problems as it was only on a
rescue mission, adding that government was
dogged to change things in the country.
Critics of this administration have continued to
argue that nothing has been bettered since the
coming in of the Buhari-led administration.
According to them things have only got worse
from what they used to be.
